Op Sceptre

Yesterday was the start of Operation Sceptre,  a national week long operation dedicated to tackling and reducing knife crime. 

During this week the neighbourhood team will be taking part in a number of activities from weapon sweeps, educational inputs to pro active targeting of problem areas.

The week long initiative also encourages people to surrender any weapon that they may have. There are knife bins around the district Anti-knife crime work in Wigan. Please see attached link for locations.
